COC Practice Staff Development

Cairns Orthopaedic Clinic provided administrative and nursing staff updated training in CPR.

Jason Taylor, of  Category 5 Emergency Care attended the clinic and presented an informative session with the staff. Jason has been teaching first aid and emergency care for over 20 years. He is a Registered Nurse at Cairns Hospital Emergency Department, Nursing Team Leader of the ED Severe Trauma and Resuscitation Team and a member of the Disaster Management and Trauma committee. Staff feedback was that the training utilised a practical approach to CPR management.
