In the interests of health and safety, we ask all patients that are exhibiting cold and flu symptoms, symptoms of the coronavirus, (fever, cough, sore throat, tiredness or shortness of breath) OR have been in close contact with a confirmed or possible case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) that you do not attend the clinic but phone and postpone your appointment and follow the QLD Health guidelines for assessment.
If you are well and have confirmed your appointment at the clinic we ask that you help STOP THE SPREAD by following the information and hand sanitisation provided at entry to the clinic.
Elective surgery patients waiting for new surgery dates can be assured we will be in contact as soon as possible following the lifting of Department of Health restrictions. We respectfully request you wait to hear from us. If your circumstances have changed dramatically during the wait time please update your information with us so our surgeons can take this into account when planning future surgery lists. We ask for your patience as there will be many factors to take into account in getting through the surgery backlog.
We feel blessed that Cairns has such a low rate of infection and wish it to remain that way. You can do your part in helping STOP THE SPREAD by following the government guidelines and assisting our practice with your patience and understanding during these trying times.
