CPR Refresher

CPR training was refreshed on Tuesday 30 November. 

Cairns Orthopaedic Clinic is proud to be a part of the Heart of the Nation network. Keep a lookout for the Heart of The Nation Sticker displayed at our entrance to the clinic.

Heart of The Nation is an initiative that recognises businesses, organisations and community groups who demonstrate that they take the prevention of sudden cardiac death seriously by having an AED on site.  

Heart of the Nation was founded by the Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page following his cardiac event on stage at a charity event in 2020. Thanks to a quick-thinking nurse in the audience Greg was resuscitated using an AED. Further information can be found on their website.
