We are pleased to welcome Dr Nicholas Jorgensen to the Cairns Orthopaedic Clinic Team.
Dr Nicholas Jorgensen is an orthopaedic surgeon who is interested in a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions. Dr Jorgensen obtained his medical degree in 2009 at the University of Queensland. He subsequently completed his specialist training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. Dr Jorgensen has planned sub-speciality fellowship training in the UK and Canada – in Pelvic Trauma, Revision Arthroplasty and Foot and Ankle Surgery. His interests include
Foot and Ankle surgery, Arthroplasty (Hip and Knee), Revision Arthroplasty,
Pelvic Trauma and Trauma in general. He has also participated in Orthopaedic Outreach to developing countries, and looks forward a lifelong involvement in this role.
Dr Jorgensen holds a public appointment at Cairns Hospital and consults privately from Cairns Orthopaedic Clinic. He is an associate lecturer with the University of Queensland and enjoys contributing to the training of medical students, junior doctors and orthopaedic trainees in the region.
